Also known as Connie Mack Stadium. When I went there as a kid just making it in and out of that neighborhood was more exciting than the game.

Yeah, I believe that (Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium) was just a few blocks from the scene of this crime (if memory serves).   Home of the Phillies (and before that, the Philadelphia Athletics -- before my time!)   I remember they used to have a wall in right field, instead of seats!

Connie Mack Stadium. My father and some of his uncles used to take me and my cousins to Phillies games there in the ‘50’s and early ‘60’s. I saw many of the greats and loved the stadium.
