Serious error, in my opinion, for this TV series. If they cannot get the rank of Service Personnel correct, no telling what else they are doing wrong in the making of this TV Series.

What it probably means is that the US Navy (DOD PedoWood Office) is not officially endorsing the show.

If not officially endorsed, they have to make obvious errors in uniforms and other such items so that any footage is not time period or currently accurate in its depiction of the characters, plot line or such.

There was a time, many years ago, when such an error could not have been made since many on the crew would have been service members during WWII.

There is a movie, Red, where the characters mispronounce the name of the city Mobile, Ala.—saying it like it is Mobil. I can’t understand how the American actors didn’t know they were saying it wrong.

I watched with my wife.
I hate lawyer tv shows. Just know Big Oil, Pharma, The Man, Police, etc is gonna the be culprit.
And a young hot shot female lawyer wins. ‘The formula’ du jour.
This was a little more tolerable than most. Not much.

This is nothing new. The media and Hollywood can’t be bothered to understand proper unit designations or ship identification (calling a destroyer a battleship, or a bomber a fighter) so this is par for the course.

Watched a couple minutes of it. Turned it off when the female marine showed up wearing her piss cutter damn near on her right ear. Military shows need to be correct in everyway way or they just aren’t legit.
