Something I did not catch last night (but read about it today) - SPOILER ALERT - that the boy who was discovered in the castle at the end of the episode was the same boy who had asked Sansa Stark for more horses and wagons. In the earlier episodes, I don’t think we would have seen someone make the trip from Winterfell to another castle in time to be killed during half an episode.

Agreed. It does mean that the next five episodes are going to have to be packed solid with action and twists and turns.
Not sure how you could have missed her. She was on-screen quite a lot.
It’s not a real time or a real place, so it can’t be historically wrong or right.

Well, last night one character was getting ready to sleep with 3 prostitutes when the castle’s medieval doctor-type fellow came in with a message for him. As the whores were leaving, the doc says “Pity, one of them will die of the pox within a year.” To which the guy who was going to sleep with them asked “which one, exactly?”
I thought it was a great start.
I don’t understand the devotion to this show. Who cares about the political machinations about some made up world? And, oh yeah, let’s throw in fire breathing dragons and lots of gratuitous sex. Yes, the production values are fantastic, but is that enough? And in this mythical world, where is all the plumbing?!
No rape, a little bit of gore, and the only incest was between a guy and his aunt, and they didn’t find out they were related until after it already happened, so it’s a bit of a grey area...

Sansa was raped by Ramsay. And lovers Cirsei and Jamie, lovers and parents, are twin siblings.

I’ve been seeing people on social sites everywhere saying they are unsubscribing once the season is finished. HBO is going to suffer greatly once GoT is over.
