I scooted by some Trinitarian church this evening (with a woman pastor, just saying) with a new electronic sign and the message flashes “PALM SUNDAY: Love comes to town. On a donkey.” WTH? Apparently anything passes for Christianity nowadays.

Just because Christ rode into Jerusalem on an ass, it doesn't automatically make him a Democrat.😜 And there's no such thing as 'Sunday Go To Meetin' clothes in this church. The pastor will wear a Hawaiian shirt and Uggs if he feels like it, and one of the deacons (my brother-in-law 🙄) will wear flip-flops and a T-shirt if he's running late. The first holiday service I attended there years ago, I (God forbid) wore slacks and a tie. I got looks like I was from Mars. Sorry, I grew up going to a Methodist church and you didn't dress like a hayseed if you had church-going clothes.
