My stepmother threw out a comics collection that, if Id held onto it, would probably be worth a couple million today. So sad. My brother collected every DC and Marvel comic from 1964 to 1967. He must have had a couple of footlockers full of them. He grew bored with them in his mid teens and threw the whole lot away.
The value would be ridiculous today.

My stepmother threw out a comics collection that, if Id held onto it, would probably be worth a couple million today.I did that to my own damn self -- a big stack of "underground comix" from the late 60s- early 70s -- R. Crumb and such. Maybe not millions, but a heck of a lot more than I paid for them. I sold them in a yard sale in the late 70s towards a down payment on a house, so I guess I shouldn't complain...
