Cindy McCain, the widow of GOP Sen. John McCain, on Friday slammed the idea of a wall to curtail human trafficking at the southern border, which President Donald Trump has repeatedly cited as a problem in an attempt to build support for his long-promised barrier.

If walls and fences are not effective barriers why are they all around us? This is a silly argument. If a “wall” cuts unchecked migration by even 10% it is a bargain.
The economics of 3rd world immigration are very bad for our country. Every person disappearing into our country only has to make a kid and they get to stay if the next democrat President does not simply grant amnesty with a democrat congress. This makes no financial sense for our nation and every one of them will be eligible for entitlements for which they did not pay into (entitlements are already broke).
It makes no sense for the GOP to support this - more immigrants equals more political power for the DNC. The GOP is so beholden to the Chamber of Commerce and the desire for cheap labor they are supporting their own demise.
It makes no sense for poor Americans. It lessens their opportunities for work, lowers their wages, and negatively impacts their communities.
Illegal immigrants also use a large amount of healthcare services lowering the quality of care for Americans and putting incredible pressure on an already broke system of medicaid and medicare.
Illegal immigrants use up our education resources making already bad public schools worse as communities struggle to cope and commit precious resources to them.
Illegal immigrants are responsible for a large amount of crime and use up our criminal justice resources not to mention the flow of drugs at our southern border making an already bad problem more severe.
It makes no sense on many levels and this administration needs to keep hammering these points over and over. Defining our immigration problem and opposition to it as “racism” is preventing us from an honest conversation and logical analysis. Trump needs to emphasize this over and over at every opportunity.
The next tax payer funded wall to be erected will be in Washington D.C. To keep you the hell out and AWAY from people who neither need nor want the accusing advising never ending drone of a bitter, clueless shrew.
But it will make it harder, maybe she doesn’t want difficulty added to human trafficking.
So, what’s her solution?
