“So why does NASA think that we can set up bases on the Moon and travel to Mars if it is harmful to human health? Robots are much better at space travel than we are.
“
The Japanese are on the right track. Use robots to build structures on the moon and elsewhere. Robot cams allow remote viewing of what is going on. Robots are cheaper as they need no food or air.
Great for getting there. But, then there are issues being in 1/6 Earth's gravity once you stay there for long periods.
the transporter will reset all body status to the last successful transport.
no loss of anything
“God created earth for man, and man cant wait to get off the planet”
Part of the allure is that foolish people think they can escape certain problems and make a “fresh start” somewhere else. Of course, all they will do is bring all their problems with them, since man’s nature is the cause of his own distress.
good point- during the tower of babel time, they were trying to get to heaven- but God doesn’t allow sin in His kingdom- They arrogantly thought they could ‘work their way to heaven’ instead of obeying God and accepting Christ as Savior (or the ‘Redeemer’ as He was known then)- They were trying to create a ‘new world’ in which they were godlike- but like you say- they were just destined to bring the very same problems to this new world of their own building- They wanted a ‘fresh start’ in a new reality made in their own image- God had other plans though-
Then why did He create the rest of the universe? Sounds a bit excessive to me..........
Instead of spending seven days creating the universe, He could have just created the the earth, the sun and our moon in half a day and taken the rest of the week off......
What they aren’t telling you is that his testicles fell off.
Nobody's ever spent more than a couple of days at 1/6th G. It's possible that even 1/6th G is enough to mitigate most of the bad effects of loss-of-gravity, but we don't know.
why not create it? Any valid reason why not? He didn’t spend 7 days creating space- and by your logic, He could have just spoke everything into existence at once, begin an Omnipotent God- and taken 6 days, 23 hours and 59 minutes, and 59 seconds to ‘rest’
God has a reason for everything He does- in taking 7 days- He established a week which the Jews went by in their schedule- taking a ‘day of rest’ in honor of God’s plan for life-
As for creating the heavens, space, it too is a marvel, sand is necessary for the forces that keep earth right where it is in a perfect place for life to exist- and we get to explore it, be marveled by it- view it’s beauty and wonders- etc- I’m thankful He did create it- and it shows His precise nature and it shows a need for a Creator- Everything points to God’s Omnipotent perfection, even space- so that in the end man can not use the excuse “There was nothing to speak to Your existence” as a reason why they reject Christ
We learned that there is absolutely no amount of taxpayer money the Clintons aren't willing to waste to buy support, and that they can be as corrupt as they want, in full public view, and nothing will happen to them.
It was a result they continue to exploit.
I imagine it would do even worse things to a female body. In a lot of ways they’re more complex than ours.
True. Humans have created a lot of new technology to get to outer space.
There is nothing that can be made in space that can't be done cheaper, faster and easier right here on Earth.
Other than tourism, there is no Earthly reason to go into space.
I knew that clip was coming.
LOL, of COURSE you did!
Long distance sea travel during the age of sail was very hard on sailors too. Studies like this should lead to the development of solutions (artificial gravity, radiation and micro particle shielding, etc.). Admittedly, the problems are a lot more complex than Scurvy and solutions more difficult than putting Vitamin C in astronauts’ diets. But that’s the challenge.
We are still living organisms that are on a small watered planet in the vast universe. We were meant to be here. Sure Sci-Fi can result in sci-fact, but we have to be able to take care of our natural home, before we can consider going into someone else’s. With the constant population growth we may be forced to search elsewhere, but its a long way to Star Trek and developing Hal to cooperate for the years of travel to the next home we can pollute. We are a little fragile speck in the vast universe, a good sized asteroid can end us in a second. The fleets of city sized space ships going into space is still fantasy. But it remains a dream for many. By the time we reach another planet, our bodies will be jelly. To the residents of the new planet we will be like the aliens in the 1950’s movies. Any planet like ours may have similar life forms, but it doesn’t mean they will look like us or welcome us as Gods. (and visa versa if they come here.)
Because we are destroying it with our evil SUVs. Haven't you been paying attention?!
LOL!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like the problems that occur when you get over 80-years of age... Been there done that... {:-)
And everyone of those items was made right here on earth.
Trenbolone, compression suits and a Bowflex will keep them fit until they reach Martian gravity.
