Yep. Just like any criminal mafia out there that has ever existed.
His stuff wasn’t that bad by rapper standards, but also I think he realized that it wasn’t being helpful. He was from Eritrea, so he probably wasn’t very well received by the local gang-banger population anyway, and after his initial stint in that environment, he actually started trying to do some good things.
Which of course is what neither the gangs or the Dems want, because they thrive on dysfunction.
