Two things I remember about him. (1) He was on a never-ending rant about how the education system in cahoots with the medical community (mainly psychologists) were turning youngsters into zombies with all kinds of mood altering drugs. And (2) he once mentioned that his son sat at his kitchen table one evening and developed a marketing strategy for a soft drink he labeled “Rockstar”. Young Savage must be wealthy by now because I see that stuff in every dollar store and grocery store I go to.
Ever hear a talk jock by the name of Grease Man? He was another one like Savage but finally got thrown off the air for some alleged racial slur. More than once he was known to say that he had to be free of female control and so would eventually “leave ‘em weepin and seepin”!
