He has used the mil. But without physical barriers, there is no way to “stop” the hordes without shooting them, and obviously that is not going to happen.
Trump cannot go against current law, and even when making EOs or policies that are consistent with current law, rogue commiepuker judges put a stick into the spokes. So Trump is greatly hampered by having to follow the rules and laws and not be a dictator, and fenced in to some degree by rogue commiepuker judges.
But more good judges are being voting on, quickly now, so that is good. Probably a new good SCOTUS will be in sooner rather than later, and - this is vital - the commiepuker Dems in Congress and other gov positions are being revealed fully in all their vileness, and MANY dem and indepedent voters are seeing this and turning their backs on them.
If someone is critical of how Trump is dealing with the invasion of illegals, I’d seriously like to know what other methods he should use, or other means. I’m not challenging, I’d seriously like to know what else he should do, or not do; if anyone has ideas.
Add to that, Trump is impressing upon Congress that this is their issue and they need to ACT!
Congress has to cease being an “oversight all the time” body and return to being a legislative body.
Have you ever wonder why Congress continues to claim it’s oversight prerogative over the Executive branch while ignoring their oversight prerogative over the Judicial branch?

I think you realize, LJ, I am not being critical of President Trump whom I consider already to be on the VERY short list of our greatest Presidents ... a list that is not a whole lot longer than Washington and Lincoln, the nation builders without whom America as we know it would not exist.
Having said that, I think the military could stop the invasion by stepping a little bit over the border into Mexico. That way, the invaders would never set foot on American soil and get a chance to invoke some misguided American laws. I am sure they could be stopped, in fact, using predominantly non-lethal methods.
Actually, I am sure the President and his team have considered this option, and so far have not elected to pursue it.
I'm sure they have their reasons; but, I cannot help being wildly curious about such things ... a trait which I suspect applies to a great many of us on this thread.
Something in our nature makes us constantly want to peak behind the curtain.
