NXIVM Update.
A quick weekend update. Nothing really happening the weekend, but observers are still dissecting the events from last week.
Of note, Keith Raniere is now trying to get the judge to allow Mexicans to testify for him. Specifically, asking for onerous requirements on the DOJ to either allow all of the character ‘witnesses’ something called “safe passage” to the US and to trial. Failing that, he wants them to testify via video on what a great person he is.
Oh. He wants one of his gurrls to testify that she wasn’t 15 when he had sex with her and took pictures.
Can anyone see why it’s a bad idea to let members of his cult testify on his behalf by video from Mexico? Bad idea considering that minions are still fertilizing the cult south of the border.
