I'm thinking to pick up some current from each of the eight leads from the distributor, split them, 16 might work, some alligator clips...

The number of wraps around the lead could be tricky, to many and too much current...

If this works it might be better than the memory pills i forgot about.

Notes to self:
1) Do not zap your brain because some researcher said it was good to do.
2) If you forget this, then maybe zapping your brain won’t hurt.

Can you zap your brain through a tin foil hat?

Now that I'm much,*much* closer to the grave than to the cradle I've found that my memory ain't what it used to be. I live near Harvard Medical School and have participated in research studies there before so maybe I'll make some calls to see if any researchers affiliated with Harvard doing this kind of research.

Will this gadget soon be available at Target?
There are no Circuit City or Radio Shack stores anymore.
I’ll get one for home and a second to keep in the car’s glove compartment!

After reading this I’ve been trying to bypass the safety switch on the door of my microwave. Thirty seconds on the Defrost setting ought to be safe, y’think? I’ll let everyone know if I succeed... if I remember.

Zapping the brains of people over 60 with a mild electrical current improved a form of memory enough that they performed like people in their 20s, a new study found...

Sex has been doing that just as well for years...

Friend of mine with depression few years ago accidently ran into an electric fence for cows and got a mild shock.

I’ve tended to an older woman who had alzheimer’s dementia. She went for shock treatment.

Prior to could not remember who she was. She also could not walk.

Came back from treatment able to walk and talked to me about her 4 sons, their names, stuff about them.

I was amazed.

Uplifted her spirits for long time.

Good thinking. Let’s go into business together - here’s the plan: we develop a baseball cap with a solar panel on top of it. There will be a small circuit board with a flashing LED on it, it won’t actually do anything other than make it look high tech. In fact- the sides of the cap need to have those Caution high voltage signs on either side. Two leads, one red and one black to attach to ears or whatever else some sick puppy wants to charge (I’m not judging). Figure about $2 for Chinese slave labor to slap it all together. Promote it with this story, and sell for $34.99. I’ll call my friend Zhang Wiu in Beijing and get the ball rolling!

” Reinhart, who reported the work today in the journal Nature Neuroscience, said it’s notable for showing success in older people and because the memory boost persisted for nearly an hour minimum after the brain stimulation ended.”

I just hope my wife doesn't skim this article and see the the word "Stimulate" and the phrases "lasts for 5-hours" and "people over 60"...
At 80, she may get confused and sign me up for zapping...

This is a simple technique that works through a method called entrainment. The prefrontal cortex functions in a brain wave frequency of 14 to 30 Hz in the Beta frequency. By blasting the brain with a higher frequency it moves the processing into the beta frequency.

Low amplitude beta waves with multiple and varying frequencies are often associated with active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration.

The artificial induction of increased beta waves over the motor cortex by a form of electrical stimulation called Transcranial alternating-current stimulation, or TMS..

I have several friends who do this with patients on a daily basis as a treatment for psychiatric disorders.
