Always buy one that has more storage than you think you will need. Might try renting for a long weekend to see what it is all about. Oh, and every RV park is infested with the guys in the blue or brown one piece outer garment that are more than happy to tell you what you are doing wrong.

There are some excellent buys on pre-owned rvs/motor homes.

...which it is still doing as a nice tax write-off
Haha, exactly the same -- every April my wife thanks me for trying to make my little business work.
The rest of the year she reminds me that this little business is supposed to buy us our retirement Airstream (27 ft International, already know the layout she wants).

A friend let us use his.
Loved it!
Another friend just upgraded from a 5th Wheel to an Allegro with 1 and half baths!
Awesome vehicle.

I could never afford a motor home but there are advantages. Maybe ten years ago, a hurricane hit Central Florida. For a couple of days I saw an almost unending stream of them going by my house heading away from the storm.
People lucky enough to just get out of Dodge whenever they wanted.

In my opinion Tiffin makes a great motorhome within reasonable price.....
.....are you looking for quick trips.......months long trips or full time?
To: N. Theknow
My wife and I have had several, currently have a class a diesel pusher. I would recommend used, there are some very good buys out there. Know how you plan to use it (full time, part time or for weekends/vacations). Get a floor plan that works for you. HAVE IT INSPECTED...do not trust the dealer/seller (of course it is the best ever made and never had a problem and if you believe that...).
Do you have a type of rv in mind (5th wheel, bumper pull, class a, class b or class c)? If you know the type I could make recommendations.
The buying process can be confusing but and over whelming...be patient and don’t be pressured.

A lot depends on if your RV is going to be you permanent lifestyle or just for frequent vacations.

Quick trips to the beach and extended months long journeys are on the Our Turn list.

Definitely agree with what you suggest. Most importantly, don’t buy anything on emotion. Be prepared to walk away if something isn’t right and don’t let the dealer tell you if there is something broken that they will “fix it” after you buy the rig. There is no incentive to fix anything after they have your money.
