I was never a Q follower for a variety of reasons.
I was just told that Q isn’t just one person but a handful of retired U.S. Military Officers.
That actually makes more sense to me than the original Q story.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Q says military and at least 3 civilians totaling 12 I believe.
That Q is a team of people not an individual is from drop #60
And Q+ signed drops are believed to from POTUS himself.

You can count the people who have the full picture on two hands.
Of those (less than 10 people) only three are non-military.
Why is this relevant?
Game theory.
Outside of a potential operator who has been dialed-in w/ orders (specific to his/her mission) nobody else has this information.
Operators never divulge.

IMO, it’s a group of people, mostly military.
No one (except he/she/they) really know.
We try not to speculate on their identities too much because those of us who are patriots believe that outing Q would hurt the cause. The one exception is that most of us believe that Trump is part of the Q group (and signs posts as “Q+”).
The information that Q provides is useful, mostly helpful, and mostly credible. (Q has said that disinformation is sometimes necessary. I suppose to throw the Deep State off the trail, keep them off balance, force them to make errors, etc.)
I encourage you to read the Q posts, the FR Q threads, investigate for yourself as much as possible and make up your own mind.
Eventually - I believe - the truth will all come out.

One of the bigger clues (and proofs) was this. Q posted a photo of the flags in the White House. Shortly after, the trump hotel shared a promotional video where a scene showed 8 stockings.
An anon noted that the 8 stockings lined up with the 8 flags in the White House.
The 3 stockings with stripes lined up with the American flags. The T stocking lined up with the Presidential flag at the end.
The stocking in the 6th place lines up with the Army flag, thus the clue he(they) are Army.

The Q team is very far from retired. They are fully engaged, quite DIRECTLY, with President Donald J. Trump.
The purposes of the Q team include, but are not limited to, the following:
1) A psyop of the Trump Presidency, used to organize a core of highly informed supporters who are, and will be, the vanguard of explaining to the rest of the public the intelligence war currently underway (and which our side is WINNING!).
2) An alternate news channel (analogous to the Trump twitter account) allowing the administration to BYPASS conventional media entirely, whom he has correctly characterized as an "Enemy of the People."
3) An educational system preparing the way for extremely shocking disclosures relating to a CONSPIRACY OF HIGH TREASON and also, or so we believe, to very dark forces such as an international pedophile cult operating at high levels of government--where the evil rituals lock persons in place within a vast web of criminal enterprises, a sort of a modern-day Omerta.
