Got one of those unwanted solicitation phone calls today. Woman asked if I wanted lower shipping rates? I said, "Let me ask you a question first." Did you vote for Trump? pause on the line
.. Than, I said I only do business with people who voted for Trump. ...
She Hung up!
It’s amazing how many people make their living by lying to people and scamming them. I just hate these people. I have hundreds of phone numbers blocked on my iPhone. I get at least one call a day, sometimes five or six.
I’m in the same exact predicament on my iPhone. And I’ve just used up all the blocking space on my landline phone, which I don’t use voicemail on. I even turned the ringer off on the landline so I wouldn’t be bothered.
I now have 9 time shares, 12 life insurance policies and 5 credit card consolidation loans!!! Winning!
I seem to get them in clusters. For a while they were from Georgia then Pennsylvania then Georgia again. Got one yesterday evening from North Dakota......
Can't do anything about it except put my phone on "do not disturb" which allows only numbers in my contact list to ring.
So, if a non contact calls who really wants me, they can leave a voice mail......
Stop Those Unwanted Phone Solicitation Phone Calls?
How about: “So what are you wearing?”
“I got a robocall in Chinese this week. These scam calls are totally out of control.”
They tell Chinese people their families in China will be arrested if they don’t send money
Thought you’d find this interesting. My oldest son lives in Troy, NY, and works for an international company who has an office there. On the same day last week, he and two of his co-workers, got the same email sent to their work email addresses, that each of them had had a relative who had died on the Malaysia 370 flight, and had left them an inheritance. They got a big laugh out of it. Who would have thought, that all three of them would have had relatives that all died on that same flight. LOL!!
I remembered your post, and had to come back to tell you that I got a call, and then a voicemail in Chinese on my iPhone yesterday. It was a woman. I was at the local casino, and put the phone to my friend's ear so she could hear it too.
I checked the number when I got home. It was from NY City (212-269-7797). It's assigned to the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD). I don't have any idea why a Chinese lady would be calling me, and leaving a voicemail in Chinese. I'm diabetic, and haven't had an alcoholic drink in years, and the only drugs I take, are the ones my doctors prescribe to me.
Breath hard, ask them what they’re wearing.
