I think it is on the bottom of the computer. It may be legible.

Copy the Product Key down and keep it. Removing the sticker would be kind of hard, but it proves ownership of the license. Dom't leave it on the Acer case if you junk the whole thing. And for Win7, is it Home, Premium, Professional, or Ultimate? You need to know whether the license is for 32-bit or 64-bit. The 64-bit Product Key will not work for a 32-bit OS or 32-bit machine. But a 32-bit install disk and Product key will work on a 64-bit capable machine, as will the 64-bit OS.

You cannot just put the hard disk on just any old other computer if its OS is 64-bit. Some of the people responding to you here are not giving you proper and useful advice.

And actually, it is really not the smartest to ask for computer advice on a site for which that is not the prime purpose. Lots of times, "free" advice from a wannabe is not free. It camn be very expensive--to you, that is, not them.

What you need is a local shop or experienced echnician who charges for his expertise, and whose business depends on it. Not FR, where even a real repairman cannot see your machine and open it up.

Take a Pic with a Smartphone that’s a good clean pic. Then just expand it.
