Whole Foods will slash prices on hundreds of items starting Wednesday, extending its focus beyond enticing Prime shoppers. The specialty grocer's last major price cut for all customers was in Nov. 2017. In the interim, it has been rolling out more perks catered to members of Amazon Prime, like offering them an extra 10 percent off discounted products. Amazon, which acquired Whole Foods in July 2017, had hoped to convert more Prime members into Whole Foods shoppers. The better Whole Foods is able to sync in-store shopping with Amazon Prime, the better it will be able to target its ads and promotions.

I'll starve before I shop at Whole Paycheck.
Bezos should fire the Clowns, who decided:
You had to use your smart phone to get the Prime discount, when you use your Amazon Prime Credit Card in Whole Foods Stores.
Using your Amazon Prime Credit Card should automatically get you the discounted price at any Whole Foods Store.
They use your smart phone app to track your location as well as your spending habits—great marketing info to sell to the highest bidder.
You are property, citizen.
They have that when and where we use our Amazon Prime Card.
I’d rather shop at Meijer...
They are slashing prices but they will still be twice as expensive of any normal store.
THIS!!!
Two words: amazing donuts and amazing gumbo served hot.
While I am sure my shopping helps some multi-national congloberate, I choose not to support Amazon anymore.

Somebody in the Walton family supported Hillary.
Target supports LGBT
Etc.
They should be reaching out to customers that live near by. seems silly to try to target Prime account holders when many thousands of people live within 1-2 miles of each actual WF store. If they drop prices and advertise it they would get more local people checking them out.
I would never shop there just due to fact I do not support Amazon/bald creepy owner who cheated on wife and I think getting divorced. I dont like that Amazon gets or was getting over $1 per package kick back from govt.
Went into Whole Foods once just to browse and look at goods and prices...When a freakin’ $47.00 jar of honey stared back at me, I left...Ain’t been back....
I’m an Aldi’s fan myself.
Not everything there is up to par, but everything is cheap.
As a retiree, I have the time to shop a different store each week rotating Aldi, Meijer, and Costco.
We have shopped at Aldi’s a few times when we’ve just wanted to get out and see what we could find...
Ain’t retirement great???LOL...Been retired four years now...
My wife was worried that I’d be bored to death...Now she says I took to it like a duck takes to water...
