Who’s wearing striped ties? POTUS?
If so, I don’t think he does things without a reason. I picture him almost always wearing a red tie. I think there was a reason for that, too.
Red is a “power color,” and red ties connote power. It’s an old television bit of wisdom.
Yes striped yesterday and today, they were just odd looking ties on him... reminded me of the ties my grandfather used to wear.
Like you say, from what I have noticed anyway, mostly solid reds and every now and then a blue one.
