He got paid with a year's worth of education at a university with a ridiculously high tuition rate. In his case though, probably not much bang for the buck...

Coach K up and out early this morning scouting for more one-and-done basketball mercenaries.

What does Dizzy Cortez or Red Bernie say about this? Shouldn’t there be a limit on how much one can earn?

It amazes me that people who buy sneakers are swayed by advertising where a rich kid who just admitted he’d “endorse” whatever sneaker was made by the highest bidder.

I sometimes listen to people I trust when they tell me they use a product, and that is WHY they are saying it is great.

But an athlete who doesn’t buy his own shoes, who sells his name to whatever company pays him the most? If I wanted to wear the shoe of the company most desperate, I guess I’d listen to these endorsements.

All I got to say is Wreck ‘Em, Tech! He didn’t want a rematch of our game in December for the Finals.

Given a NIKE shoe blew out on him on National TV, and could have ended his career before its started, I would think Nike has already paid him millions indirectly or “in waiting” to keep his mouth shut about it.

That amount of money is really a lot for a young man like Zion (or anybody) to have and not change them (for the worst). Hopefully, Zion has some intrinsic strength of character and will be able to endure the trial.......

Too bad for the Dukies...not really....that he will be gone. Too bad that they lost - by one little point....sorry but that is so nice (this from a Tar Heel fan).
