I started with a cheap AR...Then I realized all the upgrades and aftermarkets you can swap out, and how you can buy uppers of different calibers for a single lower, and how you can start to build your own uppers and lowers with custom parts, etc, etc...Its addictive...and will cost a whole lot more than you originally thought and you will enjoy spending every spare penny of your money on it. LOL.
Yup, me too, personal customization is what makes it such a great platform.
