No, it really is the case that certain animated GIFs hold my attention even after many repetitions and even knowing full well each rep is identical to the prior one. Tearing my eyes away from them is a physical act of strength and will.
For example, there's a well-known GIF of a very pretty young woman pulling up a pair of very tight jeans an inch or two at a time; her remarkable figure bounces in remarkably hypnotic fashion. I and every other hetero male I know can watch that looping GIF minute after minute without getting bored, until someone comes along and turns it off for us...
<sigh>
Adding up the begats...hmmm so you you taking Adam and Eve as a start plus 6 24 hours days...well 6 day plus 9 months assuming Adam and Eve got it on that first night
The point being the bible does not say that ..its someones math..
Of course were do Adam and Eve kids come up with mates? Or was it all incest?
Now, don’t be a Debbie Downer.
Some things just have to be
swallowed whole. Like raw oysters.
There was no law against it....what do you think?
Mosaic code came later as Paul said to raise consciousness of sin, to show each of us how much more wrong in the sight of God we already were. The law was given to bring each of us to the realization that only God himself could free us and forgive us from the bondage of sin as we, in our own power would be unable to do so on our own.
So yeah, it was incest, got a problem with that, guttermind? Adam and Eve were genetically super robust and had multiples of children over 900 years. Once numbers grew, their children pairing off and having children and then those children and so forth, the connections would start to become less direct and there would be more genetic bloom and variation after that.(think of animations of fractal patterns and the infinite varieties seen both micro and macro).
