I’ve had hockey playing friends and I’m convinced every hockey players is certifiably insane and would not pass the most basic psych evaluation before thrown in and locked away :)

Some were Irish guys who ended up collecting for the mafia :)
My only spectator sport is Hockeyfights.com.
Designated fighters square off, drop the gloves, and go at it until linesmen separate & drag them to the penalty box; usually no one gets hurt.
But for real slam bang old time hockey, goalies fighting each other (How!? They’re at opposite ends of the ice) is a special kind of crazy. And nowadays whenever somebody scores, the goalie goes nuts & smashes his stick against the net and then kicks the net over out of sheer frustration.
Yeah, lots of certifiables out there on the ice.
