This guy was no Italian. Not sure what his background was, but he had a lot more mouth than common sense. And the more he drank, the more he ran his mouth. I was having a few beers too, but not like him.
I guess he finally tripped my trigger. I roundhoused him and connected right on the temple, the sweet spot.
I was a hero for quite a while after that! It was at a large house party, which my friend’s sister and brother in law frequently held.
To the temple!!

The second event, I was not proud of. Guy was a former friend. Let’s just say that he confused kindness with weakness for a very long time. A confrontation finally occurred and I took him out. Same thing, roundhouse to the right temple. If I was MMA, that would be my signature move.
Less proud of that because he and I had been friends and I can’t help but think that we could have worked this out a different way.
Water over the dam though, and perhaps a lesson or two. I’m just not inclined to even get in the situations where I need/want to do that any more. And, I’m 60 years old as of about 2 weeks ago. I think my fighting days are behind me.

I was 18 and apparently stepped on the foot of the girlfriend of this guy, Johnny Limbo.
Supposed to be REALLY bad. Knocked guys out blah blah. Connected.
He asked me to apologize and I said #### you.
So he hit me and we must have exchanged a few dozen punches in under a minute. One of those fast and done fights. Our friends pulled us apart and he walked away.
Not one of his punches hurt.
Steroid ####.
It was great being the guy that took a gazillion punches form Limbo and showed no facial bruises at all :)

I think his punches didn’t hurt because SO MANY did when I boxed!!
I wasn’t that good. Lead feet.
But the black and PR guys told me I was one of the toughest white fighters at that gym :) A compliment lol
