Likely an inflated ruse over a flu.
Of course, he IS older than Keith Richards. And likely the healthiest 75 year old man on the planet.
Something minor...making sure everyone turns out for this "possibly the last" tour.
At $400 for a floor seat. It ought to be ANOTHER billion-dollar-plus US tour.
All I can say is good on these guys for keeping the R&R flame burning bright.
When they are on, no other band in the world comes close.

Why don’t they retire? Like the Chieftains, are they going to be wheeled on and off the stage?

I’m 50 and I couldn’t stand on a stage that long, no less sing and move around too :)

Their “last” tour was decades ago. Is this absolutely, positively, their “last” tour?

“Why dont they retire?”
It cannot be the money. They all have more than they could ever spend if they were trying to spend it all.
I’m going with professional pride, and the fact they truly enjoy what they do.
And they do it better than anyone else.

75 years old.and still strutting around doing rock and roll.
The Stones have been around for over 50 years, haven’t they?
How many entertainers of any type, stay on top so long?

“Their last tour was decades ago.”
They’ve done 6 worldwide tours since 2000. Over 700 shows.

Tell ya what’s hard to believe. I’m 65, semi-retired, grey hair, grandkids, etc.
I was 11 years old the first time I heard the Stones.

Professional pride and self-respect should cause them to quit and retire. Who wants to watch a 75 year old prance on a stage, try to sing like they did in their 20s?

If you’ve never seen them live before, please do yourself a favor and invest in the ticket; you’ll likely never see anything as special, ever again! (I’m not even that big of a fan.)

In my humble opinion, they are the greatest Rock & Roll Band of all time.

I can accurately deduce that you have never seen the Rolling Stones live.

Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five took the opposite tack: after their initial run was over, he retired and stayed off the oldies circuit and out of the casinos and the small venues. He once said something like, "We played teen music for teens, and I don't want to be playing it when I'm 65. We had our day, and I don't want to be repeating it for the next forty years."
He was one of the few rock stars of that era who maintained control over his own music, and he kept tight control over it, which is why you probably won't find it on jukeboxes or hear it on radio stations.

Saw the Stones at Dodger Stadium in the 90s. Spectacular then, probably still spectacular now.

I’ll bet that if you were going to make what he’s making, you’d find a way..
