Take a chill pill, zax, my noobie friend. I was just half-kidding.
But would it really kill you to learn a few proper English phrases?
You should be thanking me for raising your grammatical awareness.
LOL
Not to me, do it to them. Reminds me of Room 101 in 1984 and poor Winston Smith begs O’Brien to “Do it to her”.
Every time she hears someone on tv make this particular error she can't help pointing it out.
LOL
I ain’t your friend because I don’t know you.
Oh, I learned a few choice proper English phrases that I could throw your way.
Thank you for what? Having a “holier than thou” attitude? No, you go around correcting people not because you want the person to get better in their grammar, but because it fills some empty void that you have that at the end of the day you are left lonely. Pathetic. If I want something to correct my grammar, I have Grammarly for that. I don’t need you nor does anyone else. You weren’t half-kidding. No one with all that junk on the thread only “half kids”.
By the way, your cartoon is incorrect. The principal states to the teacher “he will have to do with less”. Since the principal did not explicitly state people, although it was in the context of the firing, the correct word to use there is “less”. Had the principal states explicitly that the educators had to do with fewer teachers then the cartoon would be right; but, because the principal does not specify there is no way to know what one will have to do without. In the business sense, a teacher is a resource employed by the school. A pencil is a resource employed by the school. Tangible and intangible assets are resources both employed by the school. Since both are resources and have a finite number, in some cases, and are not numerically counted in others, the term “less” is the right word to be used in that case because of the ambiguity of the phrase as it is stated. How ironic that you correct people with an incorrect cartoon. Go back to where you came from.
nope. YOU need to learn etiquette, Correction in an informal setting will get your teeth removed involuntarily. The same etiquette off the internet goes for on the internet. Learn some manners before you go around correcting people. Because it’s rude and you don’t know what the heck you are talking about.
Wow, you have fewer brain cells than an amoeba. Does that make you less of a man?
