The guy was an ass for slaughtering the pig when it’s obvious belonged to someone else....he couldn’t wait until the police cleared up the issue...?

She made her way up the driveway of the property where she’d been told the pig had been killed and confronted the man who who was still cutting up her family’s pet. That is just cold.
Whether it was an escaped pet or livestock, I still don't see the rationale for killing and slaughtering it right then. That guy sounds like a complete scumbag.

Yes, killing that pet pig was wrong, but calling the act savagery is over the top. Ms. Hogan’s mother might as well stop buying meat at the grocery store, if simply killing and butchering a pig is her standard for savagery.
Hopefully, the uncouth butcher will be facing charges.
