I’m 71....you ain’t gona like it!!!
What a drag it is getting old...
...but Keith Richards keeps rolling along...........
75 years old
I dont anyone posts on this forum over 60 has the cardio he has to do the shows he does.
Jagger gave up drugs long ago....his drug is poontang
Same as mine
If I had his cash Id have 8 kids or more too
David Gilmour is another procreator
8 kids too but with only two wives I think..
Im a laggard....only 5.
I have my top 3 all time Rock and/or Roll songs of all time...but if pushed I would choose “Gimme Shelter” as THE best of all of ‘em. Love Keith’s opening solo guitar licks...
Incredible story of Merry Clayton being called near midnight to go into the LA studio and record her amazing vocals. At one point, you can hear Mick say, “Wow!”.
A sad note, Merry was pregnant at the time and, it was posited, the stress she went thru that night caused her miscarriage.
They dont need the money they must like it
I think one or two tours ago Ron Wood did indeed need the money
I suppose your "Mother Helped a Little" with that post?
I hate to disappoint the bitter scolds here as they knit away derisively
But check out the longevity of Jaggers parents
88 and 93
I for one am eternally grateful to have had the privilege of having their music to enjoy as like a chronology of the timeline of my first 35-40 years
From Not Fade Away and Red Rooster and Route 66....all covers
Up through I guess the 80s
Godspeed Sit Mick
Lip transplant.
I saw them last at MSG in 2003. For a bunch of 60ish guys they were phenomenal. 75?, all good things must come to an end.
51? Just a pup.
Beats the alternative, though.
I can’t wait until I am 30 again!
I'm old enough to remember when most people believed that sex should wait until after marriage.
I hope its not serious. Getting old stinks.
What a drag it is.
Yes.
Time may actually not be on his side. No it ain’t.
Keith had his blood taken out a long time ago and replaced with embalming fluid. He could actually be dead already and we wouldn’t know it.
He said that to the doctor and they all sat down thinking he was gonna sing a few bars...
Don’t agree.
These guys already survived longer than most others in their profession.
They are men in their 70s and STILL want to work.
They can command huge ticket prices. After all this time.
Not even being at their very best anymore they can pull a huge draw.
And they are doing what they want to do, not because they have to keep working.
Hardly embarrassing.
