Just sitting here doing a shitload of typing and the daily dose of hidden object gaming to keep my mind from being totally numbed requires a certain due diligence that a robot would probably not pick up on.

I can sense when something is wrong and look for the cause and erase it (anti-virus, malware, etc.)

Robotics is pretty cool, but they can't lube and repair themselves, nor re-set their tooling for next years' model.

Of course a robot isn’t going to the hidden word games that come with those virus loads. And actually they can alert the lube and repair robots that they’re gonna need it. IBM has had that predictive algorithm in place for over a decade, very high degree of accuracy. And resetting the tools is easy too, one set of commands, all the robots you need updated, in any of your factories, anywhere in the world, boom. No dragging everybody in for new training.

The robots will win. Because they’re more efficient in every possible way.
