As someone who rarely takes my allotted vacation time, I need to see more before I condemn these people for this.

I agree. If she was effectively not allowed to take her vacation time then allowing her to accrue it over the limit doesn’t seem out of line.
I remember the prison guards in California are often not allowed to take vacations and then they were losing their time because they didn’t take it. There was a lawsuit and I don’t remember how that turned out.

I am mandated to take my vacay every year. If I don’t it’s a trip to the spanking room. I am not allowed to keep anything over 3 hours year to year. The exception is sick time, where keeping a 6 month bank (it takes a LONG time to get there) is recommended, as LTD has a mandatory 6 month wait.
