This video is quite revealing when young college socialists are confronted with the possibility that they may have something to lose in the 'equality of socialism'.

Very quickly a meritocracy, or basically capitalism, becomes much more fair.

I think they should at least share their GPA’s with minorities.

Socialism looks great when you’re a broke-azz college kid. Things get distributed to you.

But then you get a job, a house, car, spouse and kids, and you see how much is already leaving that paycheck before it hits your account. Suddenly... #FinanciallyWoke

UF students held an unconventional bake sale on Wednesday, one that attempted to point out the flaws of socialism.

Members of UF’s Young Americans for Freedom offered passersby on Turlington Plaza two Krispy Kreme doughnuts or three chocolate chip cookies for a dollar — with a catch. After paying, students would receive only one of their promised treats. The rest were given away to poke holes in socialist ideals said Daniel Weldon, founder of the organization.

Socialism is the economic and political theory that relies on the government to distribute resources.

“It’s to make fun of the redistribution of wealth,” said Weldon, a 20-year-old UF political science sophomore.

They are reflecting the general stupidity of the general population regarding economics.

Force socialized GPA theft on them.

Just like socialists usually do: FORCE.

I think one state or large city that supports socialism should try it and see how it works before the elites make us all do it.

If these kids were asked to give 60% of their grants and financial aid to those who don’t have much I bet they would not like that either.

They like it when somebody else pays.

College socialists are a selfish little lot that come to understand the significance of socialism when it impacts them personally. Wealth redistribution. Yes Grade redistribution. No (unless of course they are dumb which most of them are and would happily accept a piece of some conservative student’s higher grade}

I have been using this example to explain socialism for years.

some of the reactions I have gotten from the “yutes” that have heard it have been priceless.

A third of the world’s population lives on less than $2 per day.

Should America adopt our fair share of the world’s poor and cut our standard of living to about a fourth of what it currently is, including for those living on welfare and other government programs?

Median annual household income in America is over $56,000. But if you make over $32,400, you are in the top 1% worldwide. Are you obligated to allow the government to take 95+% to redistribute to the poor of the world?

If they really care for the poor, nothing is stopping them from giving as much of their own money as they wish.

Socialists are people who want to take other people’s money to either enrich themselves or make them feel virtuous for giving other people’s money to the poor.

Who in the Bible made this remark complaining about perfume being wasted when it was poured on Jesus?

John 12:5
Why was this fragrant oil not sold... and given to the poor?

Clue: v. 6
This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
