EXCLUSIVE: 'I would pull over and park so I wouldn't go hit a tree.' Barbara Bush revealed
Daily Mail ^ | 3/29/2019 | Caroline Howe

Former First Lady and family matriarch Barbara Bush was once described as 'a silver-haired pearl draped howitzer'. But a combination of blows in her life in the mid-seventies sent her spiraling into a depression that almost led to her taking her own life. Among the causes of her despair was a woman who would stay by her husband George's side for more than 12 years. Her name was Jennifer Fitzgerald (circled in main, sitting beside George and in front of Barbara in 1975) and she was his aide – and according to some, his mistress, reveals Susan Page, author of The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty out next Tuesday. When George was assigned to head the embattled CIA in 1975, Barbara 'fell into darkness'. 'Barbara Bush found herself falling into the worst personal crisis she had faced since daughter Robin had died more than two decades earlier,' writes Page. 'Overwhelmed by pain and loneliness, she contemplated suicide. She would pull over to the side of the road until the impulse to plow into a tree or drive into the path of an oncoming car had passed'.

I remember when the press reported that they had connecting rooms at a hotel somewhere and was IMMEDIATELY quashed with apologies all around.

It was much worse than that. He liked and indulged in little boys, unfortunately.....

I believe he was linked to the “Franklin Coverup”. And, there is the video of him laughing while talking about JFK being shot. HW was always disgusting.

Absolutely, right.

Ladies, if gossip journalism and cocktail hour have replaced your husband’s place in your heart, do not be shocked when something like this happens.

When this was circulated in the 90s conservatives were almost universal in swatting down the rumors. Now that the Bush’s have fallen out of favor, it gets a free ride. Why was it false back then but likely true now?

This is not new news. Research Franklin Cover up and republican Senator John De Camp.

Whether you believe it happened....and whether you believe it involved Bush Whitehouse will be up to you.

Is this author the same one who claimed that Barbara Bush had a “countdown clock” on her nightstand to await the day “Trump leaves office”?

Alternatively, David Brock and Alefantis may have been more successful than anyone is ever going to be allowed to realize.

I imagine you speak from experience, lol.

As a matter of fact, yes. My wife. It's why I married her.

As long as a woman can accomplish making her man feel wanted, other stuff is of much less importance. And if she can't, or is unwilling to do that, then it doesn't matter what other things she accomplishes.

Btw, after the recent years of exposure of the depravity of the elite ...from Royalty to Hollywood Royalty..to Politicians..here and abroad...Franklin Cover up is really not that hard to believe. Whether it really happened...I don’t know

MK Ultra did such things in the 60s. Slip a john LSD and observe him behind the mirrors on secretly recordings.

It was alluded to in the 1960s movie Seconds starring Rock Hudson. An old man is blackmailed into complying with the organization.

The tech to do such has gotten much cheaper and easier. Hard to believe such "honey traps" are not more common than most think.

I've long thought that various Muslim countries, the Saudis particularly, have been busy with that. The Brits especially are very careful to avoid offending Muslims.

I also wonder about the British Muslim "grooming gangs", and whether the girls they "groom" get graduated to service non-Muslims.

I’d like to see a man in a high-powered position who HASN’T messed around. Pence comes to mind, but that’s pretty much it.

All kinds of shady stuff goes on. There is a poster here who always makes fun of my claim that Bing Crosby and his brother were involved in helping to frame an Indonesia leader by producing a fake honey trap

The details of whether the actor (Bing Cosby wasnt in the film) actually wore a mask are sketchy. Infamous CIA cutout claims they didnt use a mask.

But the event DID happen. It back fired because it did not tarnish the reputation of the leader.

FWIW, I had always supported the Bushes, but was always stupefied by their chumminess with the Clintons. About 20 years ago I remember meeting some older friends in tennis who had a swimming pool in Palm Springs, they didn’t use that often and remarked it was nice. Something came up in conversation how it reminded them when Bush had been there in it 20 years earlier with several topless gals and their frolicking. Later it was all denied. Maybe just another Mandela effect.
The other freaky thing about Bush Sr was his fascination with One World Order.
Now that more has come out regarding the Kennedy assassination and his forgetfulness of his location at the time, as well as circumstances of his passing, I don’t put too much confidence in his fidelity.
Interesting study of sin and human behavior.
