Thank you all for the kind words of support and prayers for Mrs. Guy and me. I went to bed last nice quite peacefully with having this chemo behind us and having read all of your responses be they posts or PMs. Good folks.
Speaking of...in some ways we will miss going to chemo. The staff at the hospital couldn’t have been more wonderful. We also have met a number of patients in the same boat with some having a bit more rough go of it than we have.
LucyT: yep, it’s tough being the bystander because that’s not ME. I fix things for her and make them right. I can’t do that in this case. &^%*$
She’ll be OK. Mrs. Guy is relatively young, in otherwise good health and her attitude is about this is beyond credible. So...with those things in place the oncologist hammered the dog snot out her with the chemo. Hi intensity and short term. Certainly not a regimen you would put an 8o year old patient thru. I feel comfortable in saying she is cured.
