“The conference maintains that it has always allowed athletes to compete on teams consistent with their gender identities,” CP’s Samuel Smith informed. “However, PVAC bylaws were not officially updated to include such wording until February.”
He went on to note that he believes boys competing as girls is more than just an inclusion or so-called “LGBT rights” issue.
“We believe that schools that allow boys to play on girls teams is a form of cheating,” Hornickel expressed, according to the school paper. “It gives them an advantage over girls teams who only play female athletes.”
Hornickel contends that letting biological boys compete with girls “undermines” Title IX protections – which are designed to provide women with more opportunities … not less.
“When guys identifying as transgendered girls begin making up the rosters of female teams, girls who otherwise could have started are now coming off the bench, and girls who were the reserves may not make the teams,” Hornickel informed The Washington Post.
This reasoning was attacked by Jemsby.
“I think he’s fundamentally missing the point that these aren’t boys dressing up as girls,” Jemsby barked in an interview conducted in her office, according to the school newspaper. “These are young people who believe they are trapped in the wrong body.”
Standing on the direct opposite side of the issue as Hornickel, Jemsby made it a point that WIS is clearly planted on the side of the LGBT regarding matters concerning transgender athletes, emphasizing that if the new pro-transgender policy did not pass, her school would have left the PVAC.
“We need to stand up for who we are,” Jemsby impressed. “It strikes me that in the year 2019 that we’re not able to resolve these things in favor of students is just insane.”

Yes, these young people young people BELIEVE they are trapped in the wrong body. But what they believe is not true. This is called a delusion. Re-enforcing their delusion is not helping them.

Young women, real women, will be denied athletic scholarships and other opportunities because biological males pretending to be women will have taken their spots on athletic teams.

Oh, I don’t know. She seems like the standard liberal to me; intelligent, accomplished, kind, open minded...until you dare to disagree with her.
When it comes to physical ability it is not about the body one thinks they occupy. Suppose the “transgender female” (male thinks he is a female) ups and disappears and years later the bones are discovered. A forensic investigator is asked to determine the sex of the person to whom the bones belonged. The investigator’s decision will be MALE—every time. Every fiber in a transgender female’s body is male and nothing nor anyone can change that science because God made it that way.
The Christian school made the right decision. How can this insanity be halted. The parents of the female athletes will have to refuse to let their daughters compete in any events that allow a male to pretend to be a female.
I understand your point and I only cite title 9 because it was in the article and I find irony in the fact that the Left was the driving force for title 9 and now they completely negating the advances in their cause that came from title nine.
But, the last I read women’s enrollment in college has surpassed men’s.
