Not really, the war began because the South demanded States’ rights and were not getting them. Slavery was part of it but not the cause of it.

Nope. We fought a bloody war to preserve Lincoln’s union. Freeing the slaves didn’t come til the end of the war as a tactic to ensure a union victory, not because it was the objective of the war to start with.

This sounds like a perfect scenario for an antitrust lawsuit against the NFL.

Which will likely result in another $3 jury award just like Donald Trump received.

They do own the players. That’s what it means to be “under contract”. Musicians and actors are under similar strictures.
