Empire star Jussie Smollett's lawyer is trying to shift attention back to two brothers who told police they were paid by the actor to help stage a racist attack on him.
After all 16 charges were dropped against Smollett, his lawyer Patricia Brown Holmes said investigators should look into the role of Abimbola 'Abel' Osundairo and Olabinjo 'Ola' Osundairo, who are of Nigerian descent.
Ms Holmes said: 'The two men who attacked him have indicated that they attacked him, so we already know who attacked him.'

If the prosecutor isn't going to go after Jussie, the main hoaxer, why should Jussie's paid accomplices in the hoax be investigated further?

I thought that had already been done and the conclusion is Jussie is guilty as Hades. Do these people really think anyone sees this as anything but stinky swampy corruption that’s right up in our face?
Then Jussie is going to be pulled back in to face charges and Moochie won't be able to pull any strings for Bummer's little bud.

just like when he sent the letter to himself, apparently the non-trial wasn’t enough publicity for the mental case. So he throws his buddies under the bus for more.
Oh please, PLEASE charge these two!! Release them on personal recognizance and subpoena all of the evidence again. Then put Jussie on the stand under oath as a witness for the prosecution.

The evidence shows that Jussie paid the two brothers to attack him and Essentially planned the whole thing. Going after the brothers will only lead the whole Case back to him and his actions, IMHO. Not sure why His lawyers and want to do this.
If I were them I’d tell the brothers to finish the job...

Well didn’t really “Let him off” he did community service (stuffing envelopes for Jessie Jackson) and he paid a fine (forfeited his bond 10% of his $100,000 bail amount) so the two brothers would have to do the same sort of forfeiture and I guaranteeeee they ain’t got $10,000 cash. Besides the point would be to get it ALL on the record instead of this “sealed record” BS!
