HOUSTON (CBSDFW.COM) Childbirth, regardless of the method, is something that requires incredible feats of strength so I guess that makes one Texas woman a superhero!
New mom Thelma Chiaka recently gave birth to sextuplets 4 boys and 2 girls.
The three sets of twins were born March 15 between 4:50 and 4:59 a.m. yes, thats only nine minutes for six babies at The Womans Hospital of Texas in Houston.
The little ones are extra small (given the fight for space) and range in weight from one pound, 12 ounces to two pounds, 14 ounces.
The six babies are said to be doing fine as they receive care in the hospitals neonatal intensive care unit.
The hospital says the odds of having sextuplets are about 1 in 4.7 billion.

6 different fathers
Part spider...
Gee, I think our enemedia has left a bit out...
I just couldn’t help but wonder how much this cost the US taxpayer?
Note to self: Cut down consumption of raw clams and oysters.
or two sets of triplets?
Was it all natural or was she going through fertility treatment?
She’s Nigerian...
Sibling rivalry, tag team edition.
I'm not interested enough to click the article, but I suspect it should have been worded as, "3 sets of identical twins".
fertility treatments involved?
So she came here already pregnant? and now we, the US Taxpayer are footing the bill.... great.... where is the baby daddy?
Well be paying til theyre 18.
And GOING to cost.
You figure 4000-5000 per month in welfare just for squirting out kids who will never amount to anything. Sorry but getting an education and working as an American taxpayer isn’t even on their radar. Look for them to all make us taxpayers pay for in vitro so they can have a litter like her.
>> Shes Nigerian...
But, but - the media says she’s a Texan. Hmmmmm ...
His name is Edward “Teddy” Kennedy.
yep-we were given a NIGERIAN postal carrier that refused to come up on my property because my fenced in German Shepherd barked and she was afraid. The postal box was welded into the fence and we had to move it. She would flat out refuse to drop it in the slot.
3 sets of twins? Prove it. This isn’t 3 sets of twins; it’s a litter of 6. A phenomenon of strength and effort; yes. But 3 sets of twins? Prove it.
