About a month ago a Freeper posted that Amazon had a one day download of several Matt Bracken books. I downloaded Foreign Enemies and Traitors which I am really enjoying. Anyone else here read it? Thoughts? Can't wait to BUY another book by Bracken. I don't know Matt but remember reading he was a fellow Freeper.
I’ve got them all. Great reading during my Summer downtime by the lake with a cold brew. Several of them in fact.
I’ve read a few. Matt’s a good writer.
Matt walks the walk. He researches his books. Back in the day he communicated with a number of Southwestern and New Mexico FReepers before writing about Reconquista.
I bought them all and liked them very much. Red Cliffs is my favorite one so far.
Matt walks the walk, and sails the boat. Last I heard, he was living on his sailboat
Agreed. Harper-Collins tried to reverse-Bowdlerize The Narnia Chronicles c. 2005.
Look at the dastardly bastardization of A Wrinkle in Time.
"...Matt Bracken books..."
Great Writer and they do bring some heads up for sure.
Matt, I bought a kindle version of Red Cliffs which I am really enjoying and almost done with. I just went on Amazon and bought hard copy for my 90 year old Korean War Vet dad and sending it to him. Thanks.
Bring Dan Kilmer back!
