“Dissenter.com thus extends Gab’s reach, and its free speech platform, across the entire internet. Anyone with a Gab.com account can access Dissenter, and utilize it to express themselves on any content on the internet in any way they see fit, as long as their chosen form of expression is legal in the United States,” Torba continued, adding that “Dissenter has become a necessary tool due to rampant corporate censorship of ordinary internet users, whether that takes the form of YouTube demonetizing millions of videos and removing comment sections, Facebook and Instagram banning British activist Tommy Robinson for his political opinions, or Netflix banning comedy shows at the behest of Saudi princes.”

I deleted my gab account, created a new one without using my real name.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Dissenter.
It still uses my real name. Whacked.
I tried that. Didn’t work.
...I think it depends, I’ve noticed with CNN, BBC, etc. those that are far left that don’t allow comments, at least on stories that need a comment, have dissenter comments.
There’s certainly certain sites that will be a target.
That makes sense. I have BBC on my news aggregator, but not CNN, MSNBC, and their ilk. That’s probably why I see so few comments ... I don’t frequent the hot joints.

You know you have to use a different e-mail address, because that’a how they are identifying you.
I deleted the first account, and opened the second using Gmail instead of the address I used on the first. Maybe it takes time for the change to filter through. There’s no way this should not have worked.
Those having trouble with the name change thing; did you try clearing your cookies? If not, that is likely the problem.
