There was a time when the Bell System wanted what we called “good citizens” as workers. Those days and the days of the Vale Medals are long gone.

If they go too lightly on this gent, then they can also be sued later on when someone else does it and they come down hard. Verizon is in a no-win situation.

Wasn't it in Police Academy that they used a 9mm to get the cat down? That seems cheaper than using bucket equipment.

I gotta share:
I retired in 2013. (aneurysm) After all the paper work was submitted and approved my last day was set for May 31.After adding my vacation days my last workday was May 5th.
After my house had sold and the movers had already gone,my boss had driven 400 miles to collect my keys,ID,laptop and cellphone,HR decided my last day would be June 1st and my idiot boss agreed.
Now --- everyone that thinks I drove a 1400 mile commute to show up at a place where I no longer worked please pick up the heaviest item within reach and smack yourself upside the head. Idiocracy is not our future,it's here already.

a resident asked him to help rescue 'Momma' the cat. Because...
If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
Verizon corporate must have missed the memo.

That’s ok. I have been in the tree care industry for thirty years. I have all the right eguipment. I also have grown up around farms, kennels and animals in general. I am realistic about animals, and how their feelings and emotions work differently then humans.
Now if you will excuse me I’m going out to visit my rabbits. They have much more personality then a cat.
