From Apple, its the big thing in a streaming service thats the new kid on the block. Expect usual Apple quality from it.
Apple Ping!
It will cost 3x as much for 1/10th of the content
And Apple Fanbois will brag on how Apple invented streaming services
The big attraction is HBO priced under $10. Normally as a premium add on service, it goes for $15.
If Apple gets its right, itll be the biggest media company in the world.
Sign me up!
If Apple is involved, I know it will be good.
Yep. They’d be crazy to not do this, but I ain’t buyin’. Not a fan of the company nor their products. It’s not bad. It’s just that it’s like Bose. It’s just absurdly over priced - at least for my needs.
Apple is quality.
Apple needs to change its focus. The smart phone market is saturated.
Good. Raise the bar. End ads.
Just another way for Apple to monitor what people are doing.
Later this year, Disney and Time Warner will also launch streaming services.
After the demise of Filmstruck, the Criterion Collection is launching a streaming service on April 8 with its world class curated film content.
I don’t want 10x the content, I want what I want and nothing else.
I’ll pay 3x so my family isn’t the product being sold to advertisers.
Of all providers, Apple respects users privacy the most.
The big three are Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu. There is CBS All Access.
Netflix and Amazon Prime now. Looking forward to more streaming on demand options.
I will never go back to cable TV again. Cesspool. Crap. CNN.
They may end ads, but you can bet your ass, that the service will be high, they’ll pay pennies on the dollar for content forcing the competition to raise their prices to make up for Apple squeezeing Providers. How can HBO be cheaper than everyone else? Other companies will have to charge 16 instead of 15. That’s how it will work.
Streaming fatigue.
Streaming most content is a commodity, low price wins.
Ive Sling for live TV OTT. Trialing DirecTV Now and Philo.
Yep, I don't want to pay for CNN, ESPN etc when I don't use them and don't like their politics.
