As I reported earlier, "Creepy Porn Lawyer" and anti-Trump activist Michael Avenatti was arrested for extorting NIKE for as much as $25 million, as charged by Federal prosecutors in New York.
Well now TWO additional charges have been added by Federal prosecutors in Los Angeles. For his alleged massive financial crimes, Avenatti faces up to 50 years in prison.

Making up false charges and threatening to expose them is what Avenatti does. Trump was in the midst of a presidential campaign and made the decision to pay extortion money. Maybe not the best thing to do at the moment, but he did win the election, so maybe he figured his time was too valuable to spend trying to get involved in trying to get Avenatti busted.
