How's it going?
Happy Spring, Vision! How’s it going?
Hi Gina, life is grand. Smoked some salmon yesterday, it was 60f today and it looks like the snow is gone for the year. You? All your projects done?
Evening, folks. Be tuning in shortly. Had to do some more yard work (shoulda seen the stink-eye I got thrown when I told the wife to get off the sofa and help *snicker*), then shower and make a grocery/beer run. Need to finish stocking the fridge and grab a cold one.
Nice! Smoked salmon is hard to beat.
We had the perfect Spring day. It got up to around 73, and Keith and I did nine holes at a nearby course after lunch. It was very nice. He’s smoking some St. Louis style ribs now.
Hi, Viking! You’re the yard-beer-food-meister!
Gawd, they’re running a fundraiser............SHADDUP, Murray.
A good day.
Yep, that’s what Vision thought would be the deal. :-D We’re listening to 20th Century Radio, as we normally do on Sunday evenings. Right now, it’s Richard Diamond, Private Detective.
And I hang my head in shame as I admit I haven’t even taken the cover off The Meat Machine yet this year.........I know the grates and drip pan on the gas side will need cleaned. Need to check the batteries in the Close Encounters UFO lights. If you get those clamp-on LED grill lights at Walmart, don’t stare into them. You’ll get blinded. Not sure about the charcoal side, but I did clean the smoker sidecar. I had to - I forgot to soak my wood chips and accidentally started a fire in it and I burned the paint off the top. LOL! I had to wire-brush it for fifteen minutes and used high-temp flat black engine paint to spiffy it up. Looks like new.
Gina, what’s that link again?
Sitting here, drinking a beer, listening to Murray prattle on, and poring over MORE disability paperwork. It was the third sheaf from SSA in seven days, and I hadn’t gotten to it yet because of Mom’s situation, but lo and behold, a duplicate package arrived from the attorney Friday (WITH an instruction sheet this time), but there’s no way I’m going to be able to list all my meds and maladies on the forms they sent. I’ll have to scan a copy and send it in as an attachment. The weather here was 75 and sunny today, but it’s about to go downhill for a couple days. I really need to get some fishing in. I missed the tourney at the county lake and half my pro staff sponsors are probably trying to Google an obit on me. LOL!

Better get out before it gets too hot.
Viking! Don’t be a barbecue stupido! :-D
