We’ll see.
As I said earlier: Extreme stupidity or suicide. I bet on suicide. To the head.
I think he was messing around and pretended he was going to kill himself and the prop guy didn’t tell him it was loaded. It should NOT have been! But the singer shouldn’t have put it to his head. See my post above. He shouldn’t have been anywhere near that gun if the camera wasn’t “rolling”.
I suggest the story is a cover-up to protect the stupid people in charge.
And who puts a cocked revolver in his pocket?
What, no pics of Barney Fife in a story about accidentally discharging a gun?
She’s just trying to get the most out of the insurance policy.
Country Rapper,,,
Yo!
How come they didn’t list the Make and Model of this defective GUN?, I there a National Recall over these accidental discharges? SHould I check my Guns to see if they are also defective and Prone to Discharging on their own??
I knew a guy who decided to run across the shop with a snubnose in his back pocket. It fell out hit the floor and shot him right in the keester.
Just my two cents but Country music, like entertainment in general, has been taken over by people who don’t know the first thing about handling weapons.
“Plastic’ country singers, who don’t sing about “working man’s blues” but “party, party, party on the beach” tripe
They watched a Clint Eastwood movie and they now think they’re an gun expert.
Never heard of Waylon Jennings or Johnny Cash’s accidently shooting themselves.(Yes I know there are stories but drunken nights gone bad is a basic country music meme)
None involved shooting themselves on a film.
Who the hell has a loaded gun on a set for a music video shoot?
“...when it went off...”
On its own. Wow. That is a first for a revolver AFAIK.
I ccw a glock 26 +1 IWB 4 o’clock. Have for 5 years. Practice drawing when I go to the range and dry fire at home. Also know that speed is important when drawing but not when reholstering.
Clear every weapon before handling. Never take anybody’s word its unloaded.
I'm violating that one right now with my G26.
We never would have heard about Trayvon Martin if George Zimmerman followed your advice.
The gun did not accidently discharge. Someone failed the basic and pulled the trigger on a loaded firearm. It didn’t do it all by itself.
“Hey Marv - I know how we can make this video #1!”
I know, I know it’s a circular argument. To each his own.
No average in Texas ..... in West Texas or the Panhandle a rancher will have a case of 6.5 Creedmoor in his truck these days. Coyotes cost a cattle rancher big money. Then theres the feral hogs. 6.5CM is easily a 1000 yard varmint rifle be it a bolt gun or a MSR ..... 143gr Hornady ELD-X Match is my fodder of choice.
