Well, unless they trigger the New Madrid fault in Missouri, goingvseismic is only gonna take out San Fran (or worse, the Cascadia subduction zone which is due for a monster any day now. Apparently they use the moments scale now, not Richter; but if it were in Richter it's supposedly due for a 9.4 --yes, that's 9 not 8 ). That'd take out Portland AND Seattle.
