Thats always how it works! The best display I ever saw was in Langlade Co Wisconsin in August 1969? Half the sky was covered with White Pulsing light! Lasted about 1/2 hour!

Since moving south I have not seen any. Might have been tonight, but I am next to a city and its overcast.

Best borelais I saw was in high school, in b/f’s Camaro, possibly enhanced. That was the best because of the music (Moody Blues-8track!) and the company.

The most fab brorealis was in Fairbanks around 2009. The whole sky was covered...got to watch that with grandson #1. Still special...
