True. However, teachers are not, as a rule, graduates of basic military training. Nor do I believe that many have indulged in paint ball shooting war games. Allowing them to get used to being lined up and shot - whether by airsofts or actual firearms - without prior training - is not, in my opinion, a reasonable action to take.

Perhaps shooting teachers with airsoft pistols during “active shooter” drills is helpful, after all.
