That’s simply not true. A lot of people had no idea VJ is black, and on the Planet of the Apes, apes were smarter than the humans.

Firing her was already in the works (it was too quick and swift and even included her previous shows). The purpose was to send the message: Don't you dare to even whisper a good word about Trump.
So you’re saying it really had nothing to do with the pro Trump Barr adding to the ratings.
It got renewed anyway.
Not sure why else you would paste that and if it’s the truth, then it is what it is.
Someone decided they can make a profit off the advertisers by renewing the show. It was doing well enough compared to other shows.

Ladt night I watched a YouTube video of her talk show where she interviewed Donald Trump (1998). It was quite entertaining till Michael Moore came on and started hating on Republicans.
Roseanne asked Trump if he would ever sleep with a fat woman.

I wonder if she gets a piece of the action from the use of characters that she created?
Sending that check must drive the producers and ABC nuts.
ABC is desperate. The Connors was way down versus Roseanne and still one of the top shows on the network.
