I don't know of any boss in real life who would put up with this. Anywhere in the regular work world she would be told- either your husband shuts up or your fired.

This is certainly true. Something tells me he is used to being the A-side, and is too insecure to accept being the B-side. One of those insufferable idiots who always thinks they're the smartest person in the room. Surely Kelly Ann can see this glaring character flaw.
Still, George is so far beneath Trump, a dismissive reply like "Obviously I got the brains of the relationship with me here in the WH" would cut just as deep, and is much more disarming. But that wouldn't be Trump.

I’m guessing there was more then what you’re reporting in Shapiro’s comments. Generally I find him to be brilliant and although he was originally against Trump, he has come around to be a trump fan. Very strange phenomenon the vitriol I read here about him. Since I’ll probably be attacked anyway I’ll go ahead and say this as a theory. He’s small in stature and extremely confident and intelligent. So I think a lot of folks here are basically bullying him because they’re envious of him and he seems like a simple target. I’d love to see any of you attacking him actually have a debate with him on any subject. I’m yet to see him look foolish against anyone and if you have a link please post it.
