'I'll go to jail for my beliefs' says devout Catholic mother set to be questioned by police

A devout Catholic and mother is the subject of a five-month police investigation - after she was accused of calling a transgender woman a 'he' on Twitter.

Caroline Farrow, a broadcaster and writer for Roman Catholic newspapers, said she had a phone call from an officer on Monday asking her to attend an interview.

Mrs Farrow, 44, said she may have posted the suspect tweet following an appearance on Good Morning Britain last September, during which she took part in a debate on transgender children.

She said she was prepared to go to jail, adding: 'I don't know what I am suspected to have done. The only thing I can think of is that I may have referred to a 23-year-old transgender woman as someone's "son".

'I try at all times to be polite on Twitter, but it is my belief on both a religious and scientific basis that you cannot change the sex into which you were born.'

In the US, at least for now, you are under no obligation to answer police questions. I recently used the following to shut down an officer asking questions:

“I do not answer questions from the press, law enforcement or agents of the state without the presence of my attorney.”

repeat as often as necessary

And the day they come to arrest her for simply saying what she thinks will illustrate perfectly the reason why citizens need AR-15s and AKs.

If someone tries to imprison her for saying it, she has the moral and legal right to shoot them dead when they come for her. To argue otherwise is to argue that an individual does not possess a natural right to say what they think on an issue of morality without facing incarceration. It has zero to do with whether she is correct or not.

Showing up to arrest her is no different that showing up to arrest Anne Frank.

Let me get this straight. Calling a male a “he” is a crime, eh?
Wow, who would have thought 1984 and Clockwork Orange were mistakenly thought to be fiction.

Alas, poor UK, you are screwed, blued, and tattooed unless you pull a good old revolution. Stat. Of course, given you’re unarmed, that’s gonna be a bit of an uphill battle.

But, if you win, borrow from the French. Left wingers deserve guillotines. Dull, very dull bladed ones.

" accused of calling a transgender woman a 'he' on Twitter."

Are these, "grammar police"? No, sadly, this is the thought police.
In gay old England this is actually a, "hate crime".

Fogot to mention, yes I know the Clockwork Orange story - it’s the state’s treatment of the population that is being pointed out.

What if one angry guy calls another angry guy (in an argument in a bar, for example) a pussy? Is that a felony?

A new generation of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience. Only now it is not in the soviet bloc or China.

Even if we sent them arms, they’d toss them in the sea afterwards.

Dysfunctional delusions now being forced onto everybody as reality.

Yes, in the UK, making posts that “could be perceived as offensive” for protected classes is criminal. The punishment is subjectively applied.

With the fools and idiots in control now, it probably is. But, it would probably depend on who is doing the calling and who is the recipient. In this World of Political Correctness, some can say or do anything. With fear of punishment. Others can say nothing. There are people in Britain and Canada doing time for saying far less. Again, with the fools and idiots being in control, anything is possible.

1984 - Orwell

‘Some’Do you remember,’ he went on, ‘writing in your diary, “Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four”?’

‘Yes,’ said Winston.

O’Brien held up his left hand, its back towards Winston, with the thumb hidden and the four fingers extended.

‘How many fingers am I holding up, Winston?’

‘Four.’

‘And if the party says that it is not four but five — then how many?’

[skip]

‘Four! five! Four! Anything you like. Only stop it, stop the pain!’

[skip]

‘You are a slow learner, Winston,’ said O’Brien gently.

‘How can I help it?’ he blubbered. ‘How can I help seeing what is in front of my eyes? Two and two are four.’

‘Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes they are five. Sometimes they are three. Sometimes they are all of them at once. You must try harder. It is not easy to become sane.’

I would prefer to leave the mortal plane and take several fascists with me.

My goal is 10. Everyone should have a goal. Goals are good. I do not intend to spend one single day in captivity. Its not in my nature.

Granted, this is in the U.K., but transfreaks can assault conservatives on the air on a national television program and get off scott free.

The fine is up to $125,000 in NYC. I think it is for official “public” relationships, though, like employee/employer or in a hospital.
