A Republican senator says that he’s had enough of President Donald Trump’s personal attacks on the late John McCain and that “the country deserves better.”
Johnny Isakson of Georgia is quoted Wednesday as telling The Bulwark conservative news and opinion website that “nothing is more important than the integrity of the country and those who fought and risked their lives for all of us.” …

If Trump were just continually dumping on McCain, I might see his point. But, new info about what a scumbag McCain was behind the scenes keeps coming out, and that’s what Trump is reacting to.

Senator Isakson (R-K Street) was just fine with McCain campaigning on obamcare repeal and then stabbing his party in the back on the final vote.
Because of McCain many people are going into personal bankruptcy because Obamacare is making having healthcare that actually has coverage not huge deductibles and super expensive coverage people can’t pay for.
McCain dumped his injured wife who waited for him to come back from MIA and married a wealthy Beer Distributors daughter, and had a gold plated congressional healthcare plan so he didn’t give a rats butt about anyone of his Arizonians going bankrupt.
McCain was a A-hole , a Keating 5 crook, a guy who was responsible for a crash on the USS Forestall because he was horsing around, others were injured and the fire cost lots of money to repair.
McCain was for cheap labor which depressed working class wages, he was for endless wars, so his defense industry donors could make lots of money while our boys were injured in action or died.
Calling McCain scum is just insulting scum.
We, our children and grand kids were/have been told about the treason committed by Judas, Brutus, Benedict Arnold and Julius_and_Ethel_Rosenberg.
McCain was labeled as a traitor by many Vet Nam Vets and called Songbird.

The attacks on McCain in general miss their target. The comments should be directed toward McCain’s traitorous misdeeds....arms and support to ISIS sympathizers, his part in the fake dossier, and his deliberately timed “no” vote on ObamaCare so he could sabotage it. etc.

Well, Brutus’ actions from another perspective may have been regarded as patriotic, since he was dead-against Caesar being a dictator for life and his de-facto god-king status. Now what if he had won at Philippi against Antony and Octavius (who became Augustus)? Would Rome have been restored as a republic instead of becoming the autocratic empire?
